I was at rehearsal for the school play when I saw my best friend talking to my crush on stage. I was walking over to talk to them when he took her in his arms and they started kissing. I stopped, hurt, because she knew I liked him. Yet she just smiled at me. They started whispering to one another as I ran away, Sophie asking me what was wrong. I could still hear them whispering in my head and the further I distanced myself, the louder it got.
