I was at a gathering of people I used to know as well as some people I didn't recognize but "knew.". I kept thinking that people were somewhat rude throughout the party. They would come over and say hi but not really engage in conversation. I hugged a woman for a long period of time - even though I wasn't sure who she was I found it very comforting. I was annoyed that some weird guy started making out with her while i hugged her. An old man that was in a position of professional authority started giving a speech about how he is a liar about how he can help his mentees and that all he cares about is getting high. He said things about the fact that it is a joke anyone would try to work while sober and everyone was nodding. I read a magazine about murder and decided to shred it. An engineer demonstrated how he made several models of items in the home and everyone was impressed. He created this large rainbow sculpture with paint and a mattress while everyone worked hard to twist into shape. I seemed to be getting in the way. I woke up feeling kind of lonely.
