rejected by my crush

so i was in my house in this new neighborhood i don’t normally live in in real life but it was a college neighborhood as in classes and students would be in the town. so one day i was walking my dog when i saw my crush for the first time in weeks. but we both don’t talk to each other. so i run back home and drop my dog off and run back to where i was to find these glowing lights in the sky, they were like stars except making words up in the sky. it was a quote and it said “true love happens naturally” but i tried to follow it and take a picture when all of the sudden, it disappeared. i ended up arriving at a college that was very futuristic type. i found my crush again and there he was socializing with his friends. i went up to him and talked to him for a little bit and i remember why i liked and loved him so much. we finished our sentences almost. but in the past weeks i wrote him a letter when he was at camp and i didn’t get a response yet... i was worried and stuff but i talked to my crush asking is everything okay? he told me “i’m good thank you” and smiled at me the way he normally does when i see him. then he told me these words and i woke up from them “i’m sorry, i moved on, i found someone. i have to go, i got college classes and a girlfriend now, it was nice talking to you.” and he didn’t smile back at me and went to his room shutting the door. it was at that moment i knew, time passed and i couldn’t force the love we had over the summer.
