Marrying Manu

I'm in the yard at aunt Karen's house where I'm getting ready for manu and I to get married. My dad is strangely aggressive, like Leland Palmer in twin peaks when he's possessed. I try to get my things sneakily from the house so I can make a break for it once I'm off his radar. Thinking about the wedding, it feels like I'm doing it before I'm ready. Deciding that it's too soon, I tell everyone I'm going to postpone it and I feel better. Even though making the choice I knew was right was uncomfortable, it was less uncomfortable than diving head first into something I knew wasn't good for me.
