Boyfriend dumped me

I had a dream last night that my boyfriend left in the middle of the night. He told me when he got back that he went to his family’s house because I was asleep and he didn’t want to be alone. Talking to my friend about it, my friend said that my boyfriend had told HIM that he was actually at a girlfriends house! When I confronted him about it, he walked me over to my friend to straighten this all out (or so I thought). He walked up to my friend and said “I told you that in confidence”; I was dumbfounded. I was totally expecting him to say “why would you lie like that?” Or something along those lines! I started to cry but I couldn’t help it. This was the first time I woke myself up from crying in my sleep. I fell back to sleep though, almost immediately and fell right back into the same dream. I asked him why he would do such a thing. He asked me “Do you want me to be happy?” And I of course said that I did, still crying. He continued to tell me that he wasn’t happy with me and he wants to be with this other girl. It brought me to my knees and made me cry harder than before. My friend was so embarrassed for me. But all I could do was beg my boyfriend to tell me he wasn’t being serious. I woke myself up a second time feeling completely heartbroken and helpless. But here’s the strange part - Anyone who just had this dream would wake up and STAY up, right? Not me! I actually WANTED to fall back into this dream. I guess I just wanted to hear what he had to say for himself. I did fall back asleep a second time, but my boyfriend was not in my dream this time. What in the hell.
