Library and being ignored by one of my friends on the bus

We were back at school. I had been in the library, attempting to read a book about OCD. I had seen a small child reading it, and it was an illustrated children's book about it. It was weird, and I didn't like it. Rory was sitting at a table with some of his year group, and none were looking my way. No big deal, I thought, and got on with my own stuff. The librarian, Diane, called my name and I went over. She wanted me to create an artistic display as some sort of book promo for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The promo itself was to use ripped up bits of purple paper to create a fountain with a hedgehog on it. This was meant to represent the book. I was working with Sam, Annabelle and Sophie P, none of whom I haven't been at school with in about two years, one of them I've only met once in a brief 30 second conversation. Afterwards I headed down to the buses, as the town library was now joined onto the school for whatever reason. I walked down with Cynthia who suddenly appeared, and we were checking off our timetable. We were meant to mark it with dots to sow if we were present that lesson (green), late (yellow) or absent (red). We were filling them all in as green, as most people I assume would, and our history teacher came downstairs and made a joke, but I can't remember what it was. Cynthia left to go pick up a fish from somewhere, and I walked with her before realising some of the buses were leaving and I should go the quicker way, so I doubled back past the nurse's office and ran to my bus. They had upgraded them and changed the parking order so I had to be pointed to mine by my driver, who looked a little annoyed at a couple people he was talking to. I got on and Rory was in the corner seat, which he isn't usually. He kept his head down, and I thought "does he just not like me anymore?" but he patted the seat next to him for me to sit down. So surely he did. But not once did he look at me or interact in any way. Wasn't even on his phone. I started talking to Lucy, and by the time I looked back at at Rory he was just gone? He was sitting in the seat in front having a conversation with Ben. Hurt, not gonna lie.
