I was living with my mum and my older sister Michelle. We had a basket full of kittens we were all looking after. They were kindof ill, so we had to take one of little sucky things (like you stick in babys throats & noses when they're first born - that big blue bulby thing...)anyway though, the one we had was TINY w a magnifying glass on the end of it so we cd see what we were doing bc it was such a delicate procedure! We had to stick that in the kittens ears and then suck out the gray brain juice. While they were really tiny though, a big piece of brain wd come out w the juice! It was a soft soggy white section that looked kindof like a piece of ginger (odd shaped and every one slightly different, though over all generally the same). The following morning we wd have to replace the 'juice' and the brain ginger (which was the medulla oblongata in my dream). The medulla oblongata/brain ginger wd attach itself to the brain itself and wd harden as the kittens grew. They were abt 8-10 wks old now so it wdnt be much longer that we wd be getting that piece when we sucked up the juice. I remember what a nasty gray the brain juice was, and I was surprised that there was so little of it! And sucking up the juice was bad enough, but the medulla oblongata?! That was HORRIBLE! These little baby kitties HAD to feel it! And I worried abt putting them back in the following morning! What if they started to harden over night?! Then putting it back wd be more painful! ~ Anyway. At one point of the dream my mum lost all the kittens. I was crying so hard, desperately searching everywhere for them! The next day, still sobbing, I went to my mum and sister. They were in the dining room talking at the dinner table. My mum started laughing and said "Ohhh.. I found the kittens. I forgot to tell you. I forgot that I had moved the basket beneath the cabinets in the dining room here." I think maybe she tried to "lose them" on purpose (not really losing them, still taking care of them, just preventing me from keeping them - or at least one or two of them - when they reached the time they cd be given to other homes. But whatever, I was relieved that they were alright! The kittens came running out of their basket to greet me and I snuggled them all up w kisses and cuddles!!! ~ Next day I go to work. I work in some sort of laboratory or something. There's a doctor, a skinny black man w his long white lab coat. He works in this section w/ a huge aquarium. There's a great white shark in it. I dont know what they're doing to him but he's always angry and vicious! The door to the aquarium is always locked and I believe the dr and one scientist are the only ones w the key. One day the scientist and the doctor are fighting. The scientist says "You keep that abomination w my projects so you can continue getting the grants to keep your experiment going! They wd shut you down in a heartbeat if they knew the truth! You're using me!" The scientist must have implored the help of the labs lunch lady. An extremely obese woman, she cd no longer even walk. She used one of those carts things (like they use in wal-mart)! She came bashing through the lab door with her mechanical cart (nothing cd stop all 1000 lbs of woman and cart, not even a steel door, lol), breaking the door and the glass aquarium as well, allowing the shark to escape. Now this great white shark is sliding around looking for ppl to eat. That dr must have been doing some experiment to be make it able to breathe on land. Whatever it was though turned this thing into a man-eating monster. It literally hunted us down. I locked myself in a utility closet w one other person. I had a knife, but I didnt want to get close enough to that thing to use it! It got in, breaking the door down and attacked! All I saw was huge gray and white blurs all around me as it thrashed and ate the other guy in the room. Somehow I made it out. I made it into another room. This room had three other guys in it. Two were sitting back to back to one another and were arguing abt something stupid. They werent yelling, in fact they were only "whisper yelling", but they were still being too loud! This shark was a hunter and we needed absolute silence! However they didnt listen to me and the shark found us. It started throwing itself at the door. I looked at the guys and said "If we make it through this, I NEVER want to see you two IDIOTS again!!!" I wanted to throw something at them, so I went to grab a book from the bookshelf next to me. On the shelf amongst the books were two of my books that I had let the library (it was a huge lab I worked in) borrow! I was FURIOUS (I take my books seriously, lol)! I must have gone out a back door or something, idk, lol, but I went storming into the librarians office. Apparently the lunch lady was also the librarian. I threw my books down on the desk in front of her and told her that this was the second time I had found them selling off my books! She looked up from filing her nails to give me a snotty look and says "yeah...so?!" I gave her a snotty look right back and said "yeah so what?! Just bc you have some gland disorder or some shit and now you weigh 600+ pounds, you think the world owes you?! The world dont owe you shit, Fatty!" And that's abt what I remember.
