I never had dreams where I was happy in a relationship. This dream was different. I was dating this guy. I can't remember who reminds me if, even though it's on the tip of my tongue. We'll call him Sam. The only thing off was he was really good friends with my sister in the dream, who I think was named Lily. We were nothing alike: she was blonde, I'm brunette, and I think she played softball or some sport. My dad in the dream, (I'm pretty sure he was Larry Miller but radiating his role as the dad in '10 Things I Hate About You) was the couch I'm pretty sure. Whenever I'd be walking and Lily was nearby, Sam would walk with her instead of me. I'd usually walk a couple feet behind them, not the happiest. One time I made my way in front of them somehow, and I kept feeling stuff on the back of my legs. At one of Lily's 'games,' the end of it really, this one guy, his name was Dylan, seemed to be drunk or something. He made this announcement or whatever, I can't remember it. I was laying on the ground with Sam right by me. Dylan comes over and almost lays on top of me, head near my crouch, asking if I needed a boyfriend. I said no and was really uncomfortable. After a little bit, Sam pushed him off me and I stood up. It was the end of the game so I went over and said goodbye to Lily. I was in a stands like area and she was on the field, so we were a bit away from each other. My dad was also on the field. He discreetly asked me if I had a boyfriend, and with a shy smile I nodded as Lily laughed from behind him. She handed left yet up is ready to. He gestured toward Dylan and mouthed his name. I can only assume he saw him on me. I shake my head as Sam comes up over to my side and wraps his arm around my shoulders. "He is." I say, and he smiles and waves a little at my dad. My dad is a little shocked. He says he thought Sam and Lily were dated. He quickly adds that we're not a bad couple though. Lily briefly mentions she's single, and I say something along the lines of, "Just look at her. She won't have a problem finding someone at college." She laughs at that and then finally actually leaves. There's more to the dream I just can't remember it.
