Field of Birds

I was climbing up a hill but I can't remember why. I think I was chasing or looking for someone/thing? Anyway when I got near the top I found myself in a field of long grass. There was a path through the grass, which I followed. As I walked I noticed hundreds of birds of different varieties. Chickens, eagles, emus, pheasants and so on. All the birds were standing on the ground watching me, none were flying. The birds gave me a really strange feeling that something was wrong. Eventually I got to the very top of the hill. There was a strange red heart-shaped patch on the ground, covered in strange inscriptions (looked like part of some weird ritual) . I got a feeling I should stand in the middle of the heart, which I did. An old lady (witch?) appeared and started casting some sort of spell. I either couldn't move or didn't want to. I realised that the witch was going to turn me into some sort of bird, and that all the other birds up here used to be people too. For some reason (maybe because I realised what was happening and resisted?) I didn't get turned into a bird, but instead got turned into the Pokémon Axew. The dream then sort of became a demo for a new Pokémon game, which I "played" for a short time before waking up.
