Never say I love you

There is a land where all around me there are modified human animals they were all grotesque and stitched I had a friend with a sword just like me and we were good friends. We fought with swords and words but we were still friends we developed abilities over training and could manipulate things around us to fight for example me bringing up a thousand needles to throw in the air we went to a similar area with the beasts where we found another child like us so we wandered around but my first friend was not around I looked and also said I love you even though she wasn't there my new friend then said why are you saying I love you so I had said you cannot tell someone you love them right in front of them then my dream ended with not finding her
