There was one more test to take to be allowed to practice as a lawyer. Getting admitted to the bar allowed you to be a lawyer but you were not allowed to deal with clients until passing this additional test. I didn't study until ten minutes before the exam. I was reading a packet but was confused because the info was in question and answer format. Then the test began and I realized I was reading the answer key for the test. I was mortified that I was accidentally cheating but wondered if anyone else was since it was so easy. But the way the test was administered was there were 1,000 potential questions in the packet, and the bubble sheet only picked 10 random questions and then one essay. My sheet was something like Questions 45, 933, 650, 7. And there was a very short time period to complete everything, not enough time to look up all the answers apparently. I was having a really hard time. People were turning their tests in and I was still on the multiple choice portion. My proctor had a huge crush on me. He kept coming over and whispering to me that he was going to give me more time and to not worry. Then apparently we were supposed to self-grade using the answer key. I checked mine after 7 questions and I was just over the line into failing. My proctor came over and told me again not to worry and that I should answer the next ones correct to cross over into passing. I felt so guilty about cheating and the proctor encouraging me to cheat simply because he thought I was good looking that I let myself fail because I deserved it. The test took place in a hotel lobby and everyone had rooms. Each room had a private pool that started inside and went out onto a balcony. I went up to my room and swam for a couple hours while most everyone else got food. Eventually staff was knocking on my door and told me that the time limit was passed and it was time to go. Some family was supposed to be in the room now for the night and they needed me out ASAP. I got my bag and left. Outside I was near the casinos. I walked to Foxwoods and got a blue drink from Sugar Factory. I brought it to a roulette table. I got really lucky one round on a bet I made with unlikely odds. It made a bunch of spectators join my table.
