The Staff Show

In this dream I seem to be the director of a school. The students are putting on a show. Conditions are not the best. We are in a building where you there are windows in the wall behind the platform where the students perform. You can see the sun and hear what goes on outside. To the side there is another group of people meeting and having their own show. Julio is there helping me set up things and keep the students in order although the man whom I call Julio does not look like him. There is a student that I am mentoring who starts singing but does not sound like her. I try to find out where the acoustic distortion is coming from. I am really intent on this. I realize that there several fans through the room that do not allow the students to here. I go around in a frenzy of activity trying to put nets here and there so that they will help capture the sound. Some of the male students help me. My protégée who could not finish her song seems to be upset with me and has a toy car which she uses to make noises and annoy me. At the end, a large group of children come in to sing. They are all dressed in green. They sing a beautiful song. I am still frantically conducting my sound tests. It seems that the children could be heard from all areas in the room. I ask one of the children if he likes singing. He tells me that he sings well because he does as he is told. We have to fix the room before we leave and some of the students help me push all the desks to the back of the room.
