Flooded

- [ ] It started in school and I remember being with Sarah Ravert and Lauren, but I don't know what we were talking about. Then, I was at home one Saturday night, bored, and decided to try watching Fifty Shades of Grey. It was rated R24 (I don't know why), but Dad said I could watch it anyway. I think I decided to stop it and turned it off. The next day, the news said that a terrible flood had destroyed some of the Earth. It was questionable whether it was gonna hit any other areas or not. Mom was freaking out and started trying to find a way to pack all our stuff together so we could go to higher ground. The next day, I was rushing to pack my things and get to school on time. Grandma came over then with Dad and they helped load stuff. School wasn't cancelled because no one knew if the flood was coming or not. While Zoe and I were walking to the bus stop, we heard the sound of flowing water and started to run back. A grey flood of water came down from up where Sophia lives and hit us. We were spinning until I grabbed Zoe and the tree in our front yard that we sat in. Eventually, we swam and were pulled by our parents into the house. The flood passed and we went outside. Our house looked on the verge of breaking and another flood warning came in. I got sad because my phone died from the water. Instead of Max and Jerry (my cats), we had two dogs. One black and one orange pit bull. We called them chicken and turkey (probably because that day my friend called my fat cat Jerry a turkey). A little girl came over from across the street and asked to pet them, but we saw more water coming and got into the car. Mom loaded in bags of food and water she got. I wanted to get a notebook first and ran inside and came back and we drove off as the water chased after us.
