I was at the mall with my friend Mackenzie and a guy approached her. He seemed pretty shy but I could tell he was asking her out. She looked like she was ready to shut him down so hard and so fast. I already prepared myself to try to ease the damage, but it looked like she accepted because she felt so bad for him. I was relieved. I had to go to a hot dog restaurant called Nana’s for a mission tonight which involved me checking on some ants, a famous spider, and my dog Sammy who died years ago in real life. They agreed to go to Nana’s and I was supposed to come too. On the way there Kenzie invited a random girl as she is bisexual. The four of us arrived there and waited to be seated. There was a giant chalkboard or whiteboard outside with details and it mentioned that there were two different types of outdoor seating, indoor seating at an aquarium, and private indoor seating. The waitstaff asked us where we wanted to be seated. I asked Kenzie if she would want to sit outside and she said no, so I said private indoor seating would be good. The guy said something, it was like a dirty joke. Kenzie didn’t get it and said Huh? but then just walked away with the waitress, ignoring him. The guy seemed confused. I whispered to him, “Just a tip, she hates dirty jokes.” He acknowledged what I said. I added, “I thought it was funny though,” and he didn’t really care and went on to follow everyone to our table. I was just trying to be nice and help him. At the table it was more awkward, Kenzie was rude the whole time to this guy, I was trying to be nice the whole time, and he was basically ignoring me. Eventually he ended up sitting with the third random girl and they seemed to be getting along. We were going back on a school bus now and got back to school. I got off the bus and was walking behind someone who was holding up a thick envelope above their heads and dropped it behind them. I looked and it had my name written on it. I opened it up to see that last semester I got straight As and it brought my GPA up from a 2.9 to a 4.3. I was so overjoyed and wondered if I could contact the law school at UNLV. Even though I withdrew my application after being waitlisted I knew I would get in with my new GPA.
