Receiving Sad News Whilst Competing On Destination X

I was a competitor on the BBC Show Destination X. We were in Venice doing some task on a boat to find a clue for where we were. Suddenly Rob Brydon stopped opposite the boat I was in in a Gondola. He said my Grandma was seriously ill and asked me if I wanted to go back with him to get an update for what was happening. For some reason, he said this whilst still having a cheeky grin. He told me to put on these blue socks before stepping into the Gondola and I climbed in the Gondola behind him.
