There was a nuclear fallout and the air was hazy and warm. All the roads were cracked and most buildings were derelict. I was in a dusty car that somehow still functioned driving through what appeared to be a desert, but I knew this was once a thriving town. In the passenger seat was a work colleague R and a twelve year old kid who I assumed was ours in this apocalypse. We pulled up to a caravan that had most of the paint flaked off and ran in to avoid the radiation. We kept all windows and doors closed and looked through the screenshot of this home that once belonged to someone. The interior was pretty undamaged, even the upholstery wasn't too dirty. We searched cupboards and there was minimal food. We thought to ourselves how to get dinner. I paused looking at the thick, hot landscape and then had an epiphany. Why don't we go to a restaurant. I opened the door and the air burned my lungs as I breathed it in but I wanna go to a restaurant so it's okay I won't die now this is more important.
