mud

it's me talking with another person...noticing that there is a mud back up. then I notice a baby/ child trying to cross a line (?)...and come to us. the baby has a he'll of a time, trying to swim but swimming doesn't work on mud. then I notice the baby sinks, and drowns inside the mud. I can see its hand up still. I panic and run toward him/ her. I am aware that I could sink too..and am very careful. I pull up the baby and am surprised that it wasn't panicking. I try to wipe mud off his/ her face and notice that it's a sticky mud and did not wipe, like I thought it should. I stop wiping his face and pull him in to safety....I think (?)
