A semi-lucid dream???

So I’ve been trying to lucid dream for a while now, and I’m really pissed because I just had a dream where I was in an apartment building, and I walked into a different room and found myself suddenly outside despite being on a completely different floor than the ground floor, and I knew this was weird so I did a reality check, and the reality check proved I was in a dream, but instead of realizing that, I started to freak out in my dream, telling myself over and over that I can’t be in a dream because it felt so real, then my stupid alarm woke me up. I was SO close to experiencing my first lucid dream, but I instead had a panic attack in my dream after realizing that none of it was real.
