The androids and the ER

there were androids among us; synthetic humanoids. They were very beautiful, enough to arouse desire, but different enough to be easily identified as non-human. their intelligence was limited; they were used mainly as walking advertising and escorts. as a physician working in an ER i ofted had to check on them, as they came in after "contact with potentially infective biomaterial".
