Owl VS Pheasant

I'm in the post room in the flat I used to live in. I'm stood with my girlfriend and a selection of our friends. There is a giant owl in the centre of the room. My girlfriend places a small pheasant near the owl despite my warning that the owl will kill it. Sure enough, the owl rips the pheasant in two. Scared that the owner of the pheasant will discover what has happened, we all run to various parts of the apartment block to hide.
