dystopian escape

the world was on fire again we knew it was their way of smoking us out. so they were locoing everyone diwn. we were escaping. we went over the gates and into the prison and they had a meeting of faith was we had to pretend we were testing the alarms we ran into a couple of confused old people and my grandma. i said goodbye to her. we escaped out the prison and over the town border into our stashed getaway car and we rode off into the hills i we stopped a minute and looked back to see the prison guard standing on the top just staring at us and you could see a fourth of the town burning to the ground. we just kept going and breathed a sigh if relief. we were leaving this time and never coming back and we all knew it.
