Caterpillars

My dad was some guy Idk. He said we had to prepare for caterpillar season. I looked and saw a couple of caterpillars crawling up my wall, one green and the other black with yellow spots on its sides. Then I started walking around and felt something drop and hit my face. I looked up and saw dozens of little orange caterpillars or worms hanging from the ceiling by their mouths. They were falling and landing on me. They were too easy to squish, so when I tried grabbing them off of me, they turned to mush. I ran downstairs and saw my real parents and yelled that we needed to take care of the caterpillar problem on the ceiling. Somehow they both seemed nonchalant after looking at them, my dad saying, "but are they really caterpillars?"
