Doordashing DQ ice cream to someone in a luxury apartment in what appears to be Florida. After picking up the order I drive to the place, which is very very boujee. Navigating this place is nearly impossible. The first girl by the pool tells me I need to go, and that I don't belong here. I go back out and try entering a different way. People stare at me. The ceiling is weirdly low. I regroup my idea and now my friends are with me. We are under what appears to be a garage type rotunda situation outside. Old women approach and tell us we must fill out forms to enter. They had us a device that looks like a combination of technology from the mid 2000s. A crappy plastic phone with buttons and see through yellow plastic and an LCD screen. We start filling out the forms, which takes forever and I eventually give up. I tell the woman I need to deliver this order before it melts. I'm only being paid $7 and this is taking too long. I walk away to go back in. My friends stay behind. I go through a giant marble lobby and climb the stairs. There's older women at a desk at the top. There are trays with red wine in glasses almost everywhere, people are drinking it.. there's something off-putting about it. I had a feeling it wasn't wine. I don't speak to them, I just keep going up and to the right to find the room I'm supposed to deliver to. I'm carrying too many things and it's making it hard to move quickly. I have to walk through what looks like the aftermath of a wedding to get to the room. There's a bride sitting in a chair, with some of her guests around the room, dressed up but looking tired and disheveled. I walk through and get to the room that says 503. The door is already cracked So I poke my head in. I say "doordash, ice cream?" And no one answers so I walk over to the counter to put it down and reorganize myself and my belongings. A young black women around my age comes out and says "oh, thank you, that's for me!" She has maid clothing and an apron on. Something about her position here made me upset given that everyone else I'd seen had been white and WASPy. I decide to ask her if she's OK. She shakes her head. She says she's been cleaning up after a big feast last night and it's been exhausting. I ask "was it...a human?" And she nods with fear in her eyes. Moments later a large group of aristocratic-looking individuals enters the opposite end of the apartment, it was an open floor plan so we could see from the kitchen all the way to the other end of the living space. I tell the girl that I should get going, but she stops me. "As waitstaff, we must hug each and every one of them before we leave a room, especially the elders." She begins politely hugging each of them as they settle onto the many couches in the room nearest the kitchen. I sigh and follow suit, hoping they'll believe I work here. Saying what I think fancy white people would want me to say "pleasure to meet you" "it's been lovely" etc. Until one woman says "oh we've met, and you aren't supposed to be here" I continue on and then someone behind me says "you, the others have spoken of you. They say you are absolutely not meant to be here as you are not worthy, you are filth" (Lol ok) I turn to her and speak back in her same pretentious tone "well I'm sorry you feel that way, madam, as I am not fond of the way I've been treated since the moment I arrived. I will not be issuing any more hugs." And then I walked out via the staircase near the door I came in. I try to move quickly, but there's a search for me now. The maid follows me into the hall for a moment and somehow I slip her a business card so I can ask her questions later. I end up leaving through a different part of the building, hoping I can figure it out given how consuming the layout was. I jump through some escalators, still carrying God knows what. Onlookers turn and stare, guards are chasing me. I knew their secret and if I didn't leave asap, I'd be their next meal. Suddenly, I see light coming into the lobby through the front doors below. The quickest path would be to jump onto the sculptures of each level (I'm on level 4 at this point) and basically Parkour my way down. There are big plants with cement animal sculptures in flower beds along the front of each level, like a mall. I start jumping, landing on each poor animal's head. Each animal appeared to be from an African climate (coincidence? I think not) most of the people had seen me at this point and I was quite the spectacle. But finally, I make it to the bottom and burst out the doors and continue running. I see no friends who I'm supposedly getting a ride from and I have to scream for them to wait because they are already on their way to the car, having no idea what just went down in there. Finally I guess we got to the car, and suddenly we are sitting in another shady cement area that looks like a front rotunda to an apartment building. I'm catching my breath. John, delio, and like three others were there from college I guess. Delio walks up to me and asks what made me come back. I said "well, a lot of time has passed, I've changed a lot, and I'd like to hope everyone else has too. Yall were really mean to me, but if i dwell on that i will never get better from it. He knods (I definitely don't wanna talk to him IRL, not a fan lol) and doesn't really say much else. Somehow I am alone now. Being chased again by the guards from the blood cult??? Where the hell is my car. I'm running through a mall parking lot where half the cars are classic cars even though it's not a car show. I'm looking for anyone who can drive me the fuck out of there but the only guy in a car said no. I think I woke up after this?
