I was inside a packed church, standing in a pew alongside many others, watching a country music concert. Suddenly a group of older people (probably in their 60's or so) turned around and gave me angry looks. I shrugged because i was not sure why. One of the old men pointed at my wrist and told me my alarm was going off. I looked down to find i was wearing a watch. I held it to my ear and could hear a slight high pitch noise emanating from it. I tried pushing buttons on it frantically to stop the sound, but it was not as loud to me and i could not be sure it was stopped with all the other sound in the room. I looked at the old man and said, "i'm sorry...i can't hear it...is it stopped?" The man angrily informed me it was still making noise. Then the concert ended at the moment that i was able to stop the alarm on the watch. I felt awkward for having ruined the last song for the people around me.
