Dropped/killed baby

Found a neglected baby-took it away-struggled to keep it in my arms-felt stressed and overworked- people arguing with me about the baby- someone tried to pull it out of my arms- the baby was scared and I was angry- I yelled stop! But they pulled my arm and the baby fell onto the ground and smashed his head in. I knew it was dead but I picked it up (it turned so small it fit in one hand) and rushed it to a hospital - they told me it had died immediately. I felt so sad and felt like I was a murderer.
