Cruise control

Lèandre(guy I’m currently dating)and I was driving on the highway in his car, not sure where we were going. I was sitting in the backseat and I heard him snoring but when I looked at him his eyes were opened just staring at the road, holding the staring wheel with both hands and I’m calling his name and his not responding. So I grabbed him and pulled his seat back and I’m slapping him in the face, screaming his name and I’m looking at the road at the same time. The car is still driving straight and smooth there’s no traffic and I’m thinking I need to move him, so I can drive the car and that’s when he woke up and said “you think I’m going to fall asleep driving” in like a calm kind of joking voice with a little smirk on his face. He lifted his foot up of the gas pedal and I said “oh the car is in cruise control?” He said “yea” and he laid back and I relaxed a bit. At the beginning of the dream I felt worried and scared.
