So this is the last dream in series of dreams I had this night but it's the only one I remember. This creature was in my basement and it was sleeping while hanging on the string we hang laundry on to dry. The whole atmosphere down there was really creepy. It was really damp and cold, the only source of light were these tiny windows with bars on them. It looked like a real animal, almost like a mix of a sloth and an ant eater with a turtle shell on its back. It had short, sand beige color fur with some grey stripes along its back and legs, its shell was slightly darker then its fur. I looked at a note hanging next to it. It gave animals latin name and its description as well as a look into its anatomy, but what stood out was the name in top left corner of the note: SCP-4874. Despite seeing all of this, its name is the only thing I could remember, everything else was really blurry. Like I saw it and I understood what it was without really seeing the text. Seeing it's an SCP I started distancing myself from it, although I still wasn't really alarmed because it seemed just like any other sleeping animal. But just as I took a step back, it moved. It was slowly waking up and I tried distancing myself away from it, while it was still tired and hazy. The creature's head was turned away from me, so it didn't see me, but on the third step I took, it heard, and it locked its eyes with mine. It turned slowly while still maintaining eye contact and it let go of the string with its tail and claws, lowering itself to the ground. The animal like creature hissed angrily, opening its jaws. I saw a line of sharp teeth, but nothing was more terrifiyng then its wide piercing eyes, still looking directly at mine, while it was inching closer and closer, slowly. Terrified, i turned to run away but the second it noticed I moved, it leaped at me. That supprised me and I froze, wich gave the creature opportunity to easily climb up on me. It had three claws on each hand, and it dug them into the sides of my head, it screamed like a mountain lion in my face, while looking directly into my eyes. Its pupils were dialated, its eyes wide and angry. It almost seemed weirdly scared, sad and confused. Like when youre desperatly trying to explain something to someone, screaming at them, without them understanding you both might be in great danger. Like someone desperatly screaming at a dead person dear to them, trying to wake them up, not wanting to beleave they are really dead. It might have looked like an animal but an animal doesn't act like this. After this I realised it's a dream and I tried waking up. Still in shock, I lifted myself from my bed and as I did that I realised I was still dreaming. I "woke up" again and this time I tried lifting myself up the same way, and as soon as I did I realised I was dreaming again. I did the same thing again, the only different thing this time is that my vision was dizzy and blurry, and then I finally woke up.
