Boastful dream

In real life I am staying at a friend’s place in Manhattan. In my dream, I overheard my friend and one or two other women say they didn’t have a chance to shower, dress or eat breakfast yet. I made it seem like I just walked into the room and said I had finished showering, got dressed and ate my breakfast already. I don’t know what time it was in the dream. I woke up MUCH LATER than I usually do, grateful for the good night’s rest, despite the interruptions of needing an extra article of clothing because I only had a sheet. At this time, even on the weekends, I at least shower and dress for the day. I feel ashamed I was boastful in the dream. I never want to compete with my loved ones.
