meteor crashing into SF

Had a dream where I was standing by a window in my apartment looking at downtown San Francisco from across the water. A light was streaking across the sky quickly toward downtown. I thought it was a shooting star for an instant and then realized how large it was and where it was going. Quickly after impact there was a fast moving and massive looking shockwave. I remember trying to quickly think if it was survivable as it was speeding toward me. I woke up in that instant. This dream was probably caused because of the possible meteor I saw streaking across the sky the other night.
