Alien house

I’m in this two story building whoch kind of reminded me of a hotel room originally but I think it would make sense if it were like some kind of nee house that I was moving into because most of the upstairs was empty with just some boxes downstairs. I kept hearing a rustling sound in the boxes down stairs and I would catch a glimpse of something humanoid and we would make I contact and he would just disappear. after a couple times of him disappearing I ran upstairs and waited behind the railing of the stair case for him to come up. I found this gold sacrificial knife on the floor right by me and when he came up the stairs an around the corner I jumped out and slashed at him. It caught him squarely in the right side of his chest before he disappeared again. Somehow I saw this news story about this main in a suit that had been found somewhat nearby slashed into four pieces, as if he shattered when I stabbed him. There were also a couple more encounters in that room/ house. These classic gray aliens with thin bodies and rubbery skin, and this octopus looking creature that looked like 4 lizard tales glued together to form a body. It walked on those tail. Yet again, when they came close to me I lashed out with this golden blade and cut them in half.
