Violence?

I was on vacation in my hotel room and all of a sudden when I tried to leave the room someone had locked it from the outside. I started banging on it and screaming, and eventually the door unstuck. I opened it and it was a guy from across the room and even though I didn't really recognize him he said I knew him? And he apologized about the door and said a man had come by and done it. I was freaked out and I went down to the beach and boardwalk and it turned out there was a guy there trying to beat the shit out of me?? But I can't remember what happened next.
