watching an invasion

This dream was in third person and like I wasn't even there. I'm following a man as he invades a base of bad guys. He runs through this building shooting everyone with a shotgun he finds and there's one big dude who he thinks dies. He makes it out alive, but for some reason he has to go back. This time, he starts by making an ied out of a Tupperware container filled with explosive charges and big lead buckshot. He lights a fuse then slides it into the room and moves behind the wall. As he walks in, the realizes everyone is dead except the big guy, who gets up and starts to chase him. He runs downstairs and finds the same shotgun as before. He checks to make sure it's loaded, and it is. Then he runs to the stairs to wait for him. He comes around the corner and the guy shoots, but all that comes out is water because they tricked him with a fake gun. Didn't get to see the ending before I woke up, sadly.
