Awkward party

I received an invitation to go to a birthday house party. I was surprised by the invitation because it was from someone who I haven’t spoken too in a long time. I cycled to this victorian style house. Inside, there were lots of people who I never met before. I try to search for the birthday person but couldn’t find her anywhere. So I just I’ll explore up stairs. In each room was a group of people acting out moments we had together. I still couldn’t find her. So I headed back down stairs and just mingle with people. However, none was interested in talking to me. Everything started to become really awkward when a group of people I didn’t like walked into the room and started slagging me off to everyone. I step outside in the garden to get some space alone but I could still hear them talking about me. “I should’ve never come to this party” I thought to myself. I placed her presents under a tree and just made my exit thru the back gate.
