Hit & Run

I was at my old high school and a fight broke out, the old dean of discipline came to part it, I didn’t want to get involved or even be on the scene so I joined the line to walk through the front gates of the school since apparently it was time to go home. While walking through the gate I saw an old friend from primary school in front of me, I haven’t seen her since 2010 but in this universe she was wearing my high school uniform; I could tell she noticed me but neither of us acknowledged each other. While waiting outside in front of the school for whichever mode of transportation that came first, I saw two seemingly freshmen crossing the street, they weren’t using the designated pedestrian crossing, cars were driving by at regular speed, the first kid quickly crossed before the cars came while the other boy seemed like he was in a suspended state, he was either frozen in fear or hoped the car would stop and not swerve to make things worse. Alas, his judgements were highly inaccurate, the car went right through the pint-size, it was an instant decapitation for some bizarre reason. It wasn’t frightening, I wasn’t even terrified in the slightest, but I had to pretend I was disgusted to seem “normal”; as you can imagine there was a commotion so with a cringed look on my face I walked back inside school and told one of the security guards about the event that took place. All of a sudden I found myself going in the back seat of a car with my ex in the driver’s seat, her friends were with me (one of them cuddling with me) in the back and her ex (my friend but they knew each other before I knew either of them but I met her before meeting him) went in the front seat; she said she had to pick up something from her house (I don’t remember what it was) but I was confused why they wanted me there. Suddenly the sky was black and we were driving in the dead of night, as you could imagine I was terrified because I didn’t even knew she could drive. We were driving through a housing scheme and dogs were everywhere in all sizes, we pulled up to her house, she opened the door and my mom woke me up so I didn’t get to finish dreaming 🗿
