I was back at University, but it was as if it was the end of the school year. We were having end of the year club meetings, but all of mine happened to be at the same time so I had to rush down this hall to stop by each one. Along the way, I decided to try out a new club that was holding a meeting. It was strange, it was kind of like a sporty club where you would walk very rapidly and strongly, and then start stomping the air in order to start hovering in the air. It was similar to flying, except it was very hard to control, and you could not go very high. The higher in the air you were and the longer you stayed up, the better you were. I tried it, and ended up being pretty good. The other girls in the club were jealous I got it on the first try. It was just like walking, and my legs would go up as if I was walking on an invisible wall while the rest of me stayed in place. I had to fight to push myself up to get back in an upright position in the air before I would lose control and come back to the ground. After the club meetings, I was back in my hometown. I was practicing the air-walking on my back porch, making my way to the roof. My mom was impressed. I then started doing it around my neighborhood, just starting to walk in the air on the street. It was so hard to move my torso, and my legs would just start rising but not the rest of me. I ran into this African American boy who was about my age. He was wearing scrubs and told me he was studying to be a Nurse, but right now his mom had grounded him. I asked him something about me and he said I was going to be stuck in my hometown forever.
