Lost in a mall, Terminator actor, elevator shaft

We were staying in some kind of hotel room within a mall. I had a pile of shit to donate to Goodwill, but a dude appeared, asking if he could buy a DVD box set from me for 20 bucks. I said yeah.... And he left me 2 twenties, a five, a ND some kind of crystal/rock. Before he left he signed a Terminator DVD for me and showed me a violent scene from the movie - turned out he was an actor in thr movie! He "left" by shooting himself in the head but I knew it wasn't real, it was a movie effect. I showed John the signed DVD and the crystal. Before our eyes the crystal rock started turning black, grey, then yellow, blooming into snowflake shapes. I left the room. I was wandering the mall/university corridors (it felt like both) barefoot, looking for a bathroom. There was something on my wrist but it was not my fitbit and I was upset my steps weren't being counted. I kept wandering and wandering. I was afraid I would get lost. Sometimes it felt like I was in a mall, an sometimes it felt like a university (lots of athletes walking around) and sometimes it felt like an elementary school. I finally found a bathroom but the door was only up to my waist. I ducked inside and fell into what I think was an elevator shaft.
