Work Dream: 4

Date: 2/1/2025

I was working as usual, and a man came up to the register with an item and a $100 bill. I went to go give him change, but our entire register was filled with index cards, interlaced with a few $5 bills and a bundle of $1 bills. I'd realized only then that I paid the last customer I had with index cards instead of money. Change was fine, thank goodness. I spent a long time trying to figure out where the money had gone, and when I texted Luke, he just sent me a long ass meme video that had nothing to do with an answer. In the meantime, the customer grabbed more things that made it easier to give him change back with what we had.
