City Game

I was wandering through the city, either Buffalo or NYC, and I saw a deal for getting a free Google Pixel. I just bought one, so I figured I could win one and sell it. But to get it, I had to get to this certain place, and to get there I had to beat a video game style gauntlet, getting through all these creatures in order to face Bowser. Also my car was somehow in my inventory, meaning I could have plopped it down anywhere in the city?
