The Avengers help a space colony

I’m visiting a very small colony in space, when it becomes threatened by a monster that thrives on the natural atmosphere so the avengers show up to help. The Cap is an old man but still came to advise on strategy. I’m at the land base watching them fight waaay out in the distance while we get evacuated from the colony. It’s getting pretty bad out there so I tell the cap to join us, but he says no, and then somebody brings him a syringe that I think he plans to use to kill himself if he doesn’t get off the planet. I put on special headgear to be able to breathe outside to go join the others at a small transport shuttle, I remember some people had dogs with them in their pods. There’s a huge beam of light coming from the monster shooting into the atmosphere. I can’t tell who is winning. The transport pod brings us to an international “ Space airport” that feels like a huge glittering inside-city. The leader passes out manila envelopes with money and our passports to get back to earth. We get in the line and show our passports, then we get paperwork and we all sit in a room to fill it out.
