New job in LA

I'm a young 20 something and just moved to LA. Got a job at paper company. Two guys drive me over to my New apt. it's cold outside and there is ice on these huge Olive trees with olives the size of cantaloupe. I only have an old desk and small dresser. going to have to sleep on the floor til I get paid. Later two men show up to take me for a drive. Someone rams into us. it's my New boss. Kills one of my dream friends. Later I found out he was trying to kill us on purpose.
