Friend committed suicide

I was at a hotel working, we were painters and we were on the top of a hotel painting the very top trim. I was painting with my old friend from high school, but it was not really him, it was his soul in a different body. He all of the sudden got really upset and was walking on the top of the hotel and than just jumped. He landed in a pool directly below, it was a beach type pool that gradually got deeper. He landed in the shallow part on his back and there was blood all around him. The police were there instantly, I was watching the entire thing from the top of the hotel, and I was still painting the entire time.
