Another Superhero Dream

The dream started off with me arriving at a sketchy house in the middle of the woods. The house was quite large. It was overcast and foggy so I could see much else. I got a call telling me that I was investigating the house because there had been a number of murders and disappearances around it. I was also told to wait for backup before entering. Eventually, another Superhero arrived along with a cameraman. It was normal that we had someone film us. The other superhero and I entered the house. It was really dark but I could still make out a few things, such as the creepy toys that lined the walls. I instantly wished I could leave but a sound from upstairs caught mine and my colleague's attention. We raced upstairs with the cameraman following behind up. We decided to sweep the second floor. The cameraman would guard the stairs while the other superhero and I split up to search the rooms. I went right down the long dark hallway and eventually came upon a room. I entered it trying to scope out the room when something hit the back of my ankles, causing my feet to fly out in front of me. I landed on my back and heard the person take off down the hall. I yelled for the other two to get the suspect, but the suspect had surprised and over powered the cameraman and went down the stairs. I chased after them but they fled somewhere in the woods. The cops showed up and we admitted our loss. Upset, I went to the mall to walk around. I quickly befriended a guy who had powers. He could control paper. We learned that we were actually assigned on our next mission together which we would be starting tomorrow. We continued to just walk and talk until we eventually came upon a Christmas store. There were so many ornaments that I just had to walk in and look. The owner of the store had a small black toy poodle that I happily petted. I ended up showing the store owner some of my drawings as inspiration for a new ornament. I don't think he liked any of them. The also had for sale some food. There was a prepackaged, large, blue, gluten free cookie that seemed really familiar to me. It was the next day and I had arrived at my new mission with my new friend as well as an old friend who had telekinesis. It was a huge theme park. We were to stay in the theme park for a week. There were other superheroes assigned with us as well as some people who were just volunteering. We were split into groups. My group consisted of me, my new friend, and a super-powered girl. We also had a few volunteers who would help us in less dangerous situations. Our goal was to investigate some threats that the park had been getting as well as to be a bodyguard if the situation required it. My group was given a section of the park to watch over and protect. We went to that section around sundown with our volunteers to start our first objective. There was a particular store we needed to watch over since then vice president of the theme park had a meeting in there. My new friend and the girl went inside the store while the volunteers and I stayed outside. We were not to let anyone within five feet of the front door. The volunteers spread out to keep the crowds away while I did the same. I was told to use force if necessary, so I took out my katana just in case. Everything went smoothly. Soon people left, the park closed, and the vice president left. The voulenteers left as well and it was just the three of us left to guard the park. We were talking and laughing and having a good time when another group radioed in and said they needed back up on the other side of the park. We started to run over there when I noticed a tree near us was also on fire. I said I would handle it and the other two should go help the others. I ran to a shop knowing that they should have a fire extinguisher. The store was locked so I used my katana to break the lock and run inside. I grabbed the fire extinguisher and ran back our and started to put out the fire. The fire had spread to another buidling where people were staying the night. I ran in and yelled for everyone to get out and I pulled the fire alarm. I ran back out to continue to put out the fire. There was another hero who helped me put it out before we ran to the other side of the park where they still needed help. The person who had been sending death threats and had said the tree on fire had finally revealed himself. He too had powers. He could hypnotize people and currently had a large number of the guests under his control. He commanded them to fight us and we had to get through them to get to him. We couldn't actually hurt the people so I had to use the handle to hit and knock people out. Just as we were getting close to him, the lights in the park went out, which he announced was according to his plan. Just as things were getting exciting, I sadly woke up.
