I was at a record store and was very disappointed in the small music selection. I asked a cashier about it and he said they were phasing out physical media and implementing some kind of in-store subscription service that I didn't understand but didn't like. I was driving down the freeway and traffic was building up ahead of me. I hit the brakes but it didn't slow me down much. I was weaving in and out of stalled cars and other wrecks trying desparately to push the brakes down further. I was amazed at my ability to avoid a collision. Eventually I came to a stop and I abandoned my car and had a cigarette standing there on the freeway under some trees with a religious statue. I was back on Spokane walking around the old neighborhood looking at the changes. A building at Gonzage seemed to be recently emptied of furnishings for remodeling. Very hazy dream fragment.
