Surprise Wedding

I had made a trip to visit my partner who lives 1500 miles away, and to be pretty I wore a dress on so that when I was picked up, I would look very nice. It was a floofy dress, but not a wedding dress - probably something similar to a prom dress, without glitter or beads or sequins and just the fluffy skirt of crinoline with a satin bodice and satin details. When I got there, they were really really nice to me, and my parter was even more so and giving me tons of attention. We hung out for a little bit before he had to go do something and his family took me to a strange location I had never seen before. It had towering decorations, with flowers and plants and long satin trains that flowed gracefully down from long pillars. There was a huge stage, with a huge white cloth as a back drop, which led me to believe a movie was going to play. There were tons of people, families with their kids - but no chairs, and I sat on the floor between the kids and the adults. There was a movie that began play, featuring a character with blonde hair and a character with dark brown/black hair, and the story was very heart warming. Something was said on screen that led to several people looking at me, but with a smile, and as the movie ended, a lot of people clapped and the kids got up to leave. It was then i realized that this was very wedding like (aparantly) and I wasn't in a wedding dress. But wait, my partner has yet to propose to me. But I still need the dress. So I excused myself from the event and went to his families house and called my parents, but because it was a same day flight nothing was affordable and I couldn't get my parents to come and bring the dress. But that was when my final alarm went off and I had to get up, I really wanted to see what happened...
