Old roommate in old neighborhood

In my dream, I visited Coilin in our old neighborhood in the Bronx. Her roommate number expanded and she was living with 11 people to share the rent. Seems our old landlord has to raise the rent, so everyone shared everything. There seemed to be little to no privacy. I invited Al to come visit. I was waiting to take a shower and saw a gum machine. I pulled a quarter out of my pocket to pay, which I thought was odd. Then I figured with 11 roommates, it must be expensive to host that many people with the munchies. I thought I was going to get a jawbreaker gumball. Instead, after turning the knob, my hand caught several yellow chicklets. I thought I saw small ants and looked closer. Confirmed. Gross! I immediately emptied my hand into the floor. When I looked on the floor to confirm, I saw other chicklets with ants around them as well.I walked away to take ny shower. Looking for a clean towel was challenging. i asked Coilin where I could find a clean towel. She joked with me before giving g me the answer. I pretend to appreciate the joke.
