I dreamed of a 2nd generation immigrant high school girl wanting to go to prom with an African immigrant boy from the same school. I forgot what country he was from after I woke up. I never knew what the girl's mother was from but I believe it was Ghana. The girl's mother did not want her to go to prom. The young African immigrant boy came and knocked on the door; the girl's mother opened up angrily; he was very polite and charming until the girl's mother gave in and finally said "yes". She decided to let her daughter go to prom.
