Nanny is back, if only for a moment

Nanny is back, if only for a moment. She lives in an apartment in a big city center with cars rushing outside. When i drive here, it goes by Ciudad vieja and the traffic is so intense i wonder if I'll ever get there. Upon being in the apartment, i spend a few sweet, understated moments with her. We sit in her room at a table and i touch her hand. Before i know it, she's gone again. I'm at peace in a way, knowing I did the best I could with the info I had at the moment. I don't feel guilty or like there was more I should do. My cousins run around and it's almost time to go but I'm not dressed and i have to use the bathroom before we go. She's got like six of them in this tiny apartment. I'm not sure why. The whole place is furnished with cheap furniture, mismatched and plastic, but cultivated with the intention of providing for my cousins and me. It's from the heart. A girl cousin like Meredith rushes me and seems oblivious to the fact that I don't have the right clothes. I'm not influenced too hard as i realize she has no power over me.
