I’m in Israel on business and I get a moment to take some photos of a beautiful evening overlooking a rustic city. I think I see my friend Karin and when I try to get her photo I realize it’s someone else. “Want me to take your picture?” I ask, but she walks away. Two Italian men who look like models come up the path. They each have cameras strapped around their neck, so I go down the path in search of good photos. I find a great shot, but the scene keeps changing, and I can’t figure out which side of the camera to look into. A pretty girl with straight dark hair, light skin, and red lips is flirting with me. She offers to meet me later, but I tell her I am here on my anniversary. She says “that’s okay. No one lives forever.” I am not sure what she means by that, and I take it to mean that she will still be waiting for me after my wife dies. “That’s true,” I say. Then, I realize she means Life is short so we should meet up tonight anyway, regardless of being married. I am flustered and I want to say yes, but I can’t.
