I watched a movie about a family dealing with a stalker next door. All the kids in the family were out one day exploring the wilderness around their house. At one point they lost track of the youngest kid, their little sister. The parents had to come help find her. She was trapped in a canyon and there was a silver car parked nearby—their creepy neighbor’s car. It was a big family. A mom, a dad, and four kids. The neighbor with the silver car was a chubby and balding middle aged guy. He offered to drive the kids to and from school for the parents. Apparently he did this for another family too. So, he had to take two trips. One car with the older kids, and one with the youngest kids. He insisted on separating them based on age. As the movie continued, weird things kept happening to the family and they started to get more paranoid. The neighbor secretly broke into their house on several occasions. I don’t remember the middle of the movie, but it ended with them getting so paranoid that the parents started beating an innocent teenage girl who had ended up in their house with baseball bats. They also gave bats to the kids to help beat her, even the youngest daughter was helping to beat her with a bat. She was screaming and trying to crawl away. Meanwhile, the neighbor watched from inside the house. The ending shot of the movie was a shot of the neighbor in a dark dungeon like room, covered in black paint all over his body, holding his head and screaming. I showed this ending clip to my friend in an attempt to get them to watch it.
