Man-Hunting Scarecrows

While sort of creepy, these scarecrows were almost comical in how pathetic they were at what they did. For anyone familiar with the Weeping Angels of Doctor Who, they worked in a very similar manner. When no one was looking at them, they'd rise out of the ground and creep up on you in an attempt to eat you. Problem was, they were incredibly slow, so you could easily spot them and get away. The worst part, though, was that if they did manage to catch you, they were incredibly weak and wooden. Rather than a monster, they were more of an annoyance.
